SWISSCOM AWARDS CONTRACT TO SPECTRUM INFORMATICS

Swisscom Mobile, Switzerland’s leading mobile operator, has awarded a contract to Spectrum Informatics to assist in its implementation of Vodafone Live! services, due to be launched later this year.

The Swisscom Group is Switzerland´s leading telecoms company offering a full range of telecoms products and services and is clearly positioned as the top provider of mobile and fixed voice and data services and Internet-based services. Vodafone is one of Swisscom Mobile’s main partners for technology and product development.

Vodafone live! offers a colourful, interactive multimedia world for mobile telephones: games console, camera and photo album, entertainment, news and information services - all in a single handset.   As the world's largest provider of mobile telecommunications, Vodafone launched this mobile multimedia portal in eight European countries in October 2002.
