SPECTRUM INFORMATICS APPOINTS MITEN MEHTA AS ADVISORY DIRECTOR

Spectrum Informatics Inc is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Miten Mehta as Advisory Director with immediate effect.

Mr. Mehta is a globally recognized leading independent authority and think tank on mobile data and internet services. He is currently General Partner with Cronus Ventures, a Seattle based venture fund and sits on advisory board of a number of start-up companies in the mobile data space. He has advised wireless operators and firms in US & Europe on planning, deployment and operations of 2G, 2.5G and 3G networks, devices, technologies and application services over past twelve years.

Prior to Cronus, Miten was Vice-President of business development and strategy at InfoSpace for over three years, where he helped built their wireless content and application services business from ground-up to $100 mil/year revenue and managed operations with P&L responsibility. Before that, Miten has been co-founder and COO of eComLive, a wireless start-up based out of CA that he successfully led for acquisition by InfoSpace in 1999 for $250 mil valuation.

The appointment of Mr Mehta marks the first step in Spectrum Informatics’ strategic transformation from a Consulting and Systems Integration firm into a broader industry player with key partnerships with other emerging companies. “I am delighted that Miten will be joining our team,” said Nigam Shah, President and CEO of Spectrum Informatics. “With his wide range of industry contacts, I am confident of quickly developing the relationships we need to move the company to the next level.”
