CEREMON SETS NEW DIRECTION AS "ENABLING MOBILE APPLICATIONS"

Whistler, BC, Aug 15, 2004

Following its Senior Management Conference at the Canadian resort town of Whistler, Ceremon can now unveil a strategic push into an area of the market that it terms “Enabling Mobile Applications”. As an established Consultancy and Systems Integrator for OSS/BSS and Messaging Application with extensive domain knowledge of the telecoms industry, Ceremon sees the next step in its emerging expansion is to strengthen its ability to enable its customers to benefit from the burgeoning mobile applications market.

Miten Mehta, an Advisory Director to the company, said "The market for Mobile Data is beginning to explode. SMS and P2P are now well established and MMS and A2P are clearly on the horizon as the services of the near future. Our job is to help our customers prepare themselves for this huge opportunity. This is the North Star that will guide us!"

"The next step" added Paul Wheatley, General Manager for EMEA and the director charged with formulating the strategy in detail, “is to establish clear value propositions and the criteria for selecting the partners that we need to deliver this exciting set of new services to our customers. We are already in discussions with a number of companies and will be announcing partnerships over the coming half year.”

Ceremon's President and CEO, Nigam Shah, summarized: "Whilst we will certainly not be neglecting our current lines of business, this new initiative helps us focus on our growth strategy. We can begin to implement the ideas that we have been considering over last two years."

Ceremon was assisted by Catalyst Capital Partners, a Vancouver-based investment banking and strategic advisory group focused strictly on the Mobile Data market space.
